Tue, April 26, 2022
4:30 PM
Virtual-CT: Chicago, IL

Tuesday 4:30-5:30 pm CT

Join us for a community conversation with Joy Harjo, the 23rd United States Poet Laureate, and the first Native American to hold the position. Ms. Harjo will share a selection of poems and reflect on how she uses poetry to face our country's hard histories while building bridges of understanding. Together we will create a space of healing and creativity where we can reflect on the challenges the pandemic has brought and the underlying inequities it has exacerbated.

This event will take place virtually on Zoom.
