Former U.S. Poet Laureate, Joy Harjo, member of the Muscogee Nation, is an inter­na­tion­al­ly renowned poet whose numerous honors include the Bollingen Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award. A chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, she is the inaugural Artist-in-Residence for the Bob Dylan Center and the author of eleven books of poet­ry, includ­ing her most recent, Weaving Sundown in a Scarlet Light.
