Celebrating 15 years of Indigenous Excellence, the NAECC and campus partners are pleased to feature a presentation and book signing by Joy Harjo. In 2019, she was appointed the 23rd United States Poet Laureate, the first Native American to hold this position. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Harjo is an internationally renowned performer and writer of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
